About Us

Jules Fine Jewelry is the product of Michelle Gabriel’s many years of industry experience, along with her passion for jewelry design and desire to create a welcoming, accessible jewelry boutique for generations of customers.

Gabriel began working in the industry in 1993 and opened her first jewelry store in 1999, with a primary focus on custom designs and bridal jewelry. She combines a flair for creating unique and exquisite pieces with the proficiency of an accomplished jeweler who understands the importance of providing outstanding quality at fair prices. In planning her new venture, Gabriel drew on the success of her previous business, as she refined her vision for an intimate jewelry boutique that would captivate customers and encourage long-term relationships. Before opening Jules in 2011, she dedicated considerable time to researching trends, designers, and brands, while giving careful thought to all aspects of building an establishment that radiates positive energy.

Designed to provide a warm and personalized shopping experience, Jules offers a wide variety of fine and fashion jewelry, diamonds, watches, and gift items, with prices ranging from $25 to $25,000 and more. We bring everyday luxury to our customers with notable designers whose collections offer excellent quality and value. We also specialize in magnificent custom designs that reflect our clients’ personal styles. Understanding that jewelry shopping can sometimes be a complicated process, we provide the education to help our customers feel confident about their decisions and the individualized service to make their shopping experience as easy as possible.

We especially enjoy working with soon-to-be engaged couples, as their go-to source for everything bridal, from selecting the best diamond, to finding or creating the perfect setting and wedding bands, to choosing bridal party gifts, accessories, and show-stopping wedding-day jewelry. Jules offers very competitive pricing on diamonds and, in 2012, we opened a second location in the office of a top NYC diamond purveyor, to maximize our selection of stones.

In addition to shopping at our NJ and NY locations, many customers recruit us to facilitate their jewelry purchases on a remote basis, by phone, email, or video conferencing. We are skilled in translating descriptions, pictures, and our knowledge of style preferences into the perfect choices, providing a virtual shopping service to those who are unable to come to us. While we delight in welcoming customers into our beautiful showroom, we also strive to make our store accessible, by meeting clients at off-site locations that may be more convenient and/or offering extended “by appointment” hours. Community Involvement

Jules is proud to be an active part of the communities we serve. We sponsor youth sports teams and support many fundraisers, benefiting local schools, athletic groups, civic organizations, and charities. We also participate in charitable events, such as forming the “Jules’ Gems” team for the American Cancer Society Relay For Life. Our staff enjoys sharing our passion for jewelry by conducting educational programs and jewelry design contests for students and youth groups. We also serve on local advisory boards, such as for the Morris/Essex Health & Life Mother and Daughter Makeover Challenge. We strive to be a good neighbor and to form relationships that extend beyond our showroom.
